Please note there are two web sites of the Department:

• This site, edited by the Department
• MU-based web (mainly information from official University databases)

We often use links from our pages to the University pages to avoid duplicity (cf. the link Projects under Research in the pull-down menu). Please beaar this structure in mind in order not to get lost. Note that the same applies to the web sites of all departments.
Use the URL as a guideline: if it includes ...phil.muni.cz, it is edited by the Faculty of Arts; if it begins with www.muni.cz/, you are dealing with University pages.

Further tips for beginners

• IS MU: Useful information can also be found in the MU Information System. That includes descriptions and templates of your studies, syllabuses of the courses, maps of buildings and classrooms etc.
• The duplicity of web pages mentioned in the left column also exists for all other Departments as well as for the Faculty of Arts itself.
