The photo above is a token of our history: it comes from the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of The Gypsywood Players, our students’ theatre company, in 2015.
This year, we are celebrating 100 years of the Department itself. Our first professor was appointed in 1920, regular teaching started in 2021.
On Apr 29, 2022 we celebrated
Prof. Chudoba’s plane tree
and launched D. Sparling’s book Outside In.
