BRNO PUBLIC TRANSPORT search application

Brno public transportation live data are now available in all major map application (Google Maps, iMaps) including information about best connections by public transportation, rental services and taxi rides.

Paying for the ticket. The price is 25 CZK per ride (up to 60 minutes). Use your contacless bank card (or phone and smartwatch) to pay for a fare. Tap your card immediately after boarding on a yellow validation box. The system is "pay ang go", which means you need to tap your card every time you get on a means of transportation (you don't need to tap again before getting off, but you may do so if your ride is shorter than 15 minutes). The system will count your rides and charge you the cheapest available option at the end of the day.

BY TRAM

The Main Train Station is located in the centre of Brno. To get to the conference venue, take tram no. 12 from Hlavní nádraží (Main Train Station) to Grohova (in the direction of Technologický park). Tram tickets can be bought at the yellow ticket machines located near the tram stop Hlavní nádraží (card payments accepted) or at most newsagents. The journey takes around 7 minutes.   

BY BUS

There are two bus stations in Brno: the Grand Hotel bus station and Zvonařka. If travelling with private bus companies (Regiojet, Flixbus), your final stop will most likely be the Grand Hotel bus station. Both Zvonařka and Grand Hotel are located close to the Main Train Station – in order to get to the conference venue, walk to the Main Train Station and take tram no. 12 from there to Grohova.

BY TAXI

Uber operates in Brno. Other taxi services and ridesharing options available in Brno include: Bolt, Liftago.

BIKESHARING

Bikesharing and shared electric scooter services are available in Brno - Lime, Uber, Nextbike and others. These services may be limited due to weather conditions.
